Exclusion Criteria and Participant Overview in Clinical Study on Concomitant Medications

This study initially identified 192 candidates for participation. A total of 81 candidates were excluded due to concomitant use of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) or H2-blockers. Additionally, exclusions included 7 individuals using other NSAIDs or steroids, 5 with a history of gastric surgery, 3 with a previous H. pylori eradication, and 2 with serious systemic diseases. Ultimately, 93 participants were included in the final analysis. Supplemental Figure 1 illustrates the flow chart of registered cases in the study for clarity.
