  2. HousesofParliament Ladies and gentleman, welcome on board the Thames Princess. We are now leaving Westminster Pier and you can see the Houses of Parliament. You heard a bell a minute ago. That was Big Ben up in the clock tower there. Most people think the clock is called Big Ben, but it´s really just the bell. The tower is part of the Houses of Parliament.

  3. South Bank Complex On the right you can see the South Bank Complex. The famous Museum of Moving Image is there. That´s a museum about the history of the film. They show you how the old film machines work and they tell you all about how they make the big films now. In one area of the Museum of the Moving Image you can be Superman and fly through the air on a TV screen.

  4. St Paul´sCathedral On our left now you can see a big church over the other buildings. That´s St Pauls Cathedral. They built St Paul´s in 1666.

  5. Globe Theatre On the other side of the river, you see a round, white building. That´s the Globe Theatre, an exact copy of William Shakespeare´s theatre as it was 400 years ago. You can go and watch Shakespeare´s plays there at the Globe Theatre.

  6. London Bridge The bridge here is Tower Bridge. Thebridgecan open if a big shipis on theriver. Just down the road is London Bridge underground station, You can find the London Dungeon there – a kind of museum with scenes from London´s more violent history.
