  4. commotion Would a playground be a place where there might be a commotion? Why or why not? What kind of weather might cause a commotion and wake you up at night? Name some places where you would NOT expect a commotion.

  5. muffle When you muffle a sound, you cover it up so it is not so loud.

Name a place where you might need to muffle your voice. How could you muffle the sound? Think of a loud sound you would like to muffle. Demonstrate what that noise would sound like when it was muffled.
