  1. FRESHERS! FIRST BOP THEME = AROUND THE WORLD! You should be thinking about what to wear for your first bop! But.. What exactly is a ‘bop’? Here at Lincoln, they take place in deep hall twice a term, and, and costumes are taken very seriously. If you don’t look slightly ridiculous, you’re doing something wrong. If you’re not already familiar with the term, ‘bop’ is the name for a big, themed, college- exclusive party, and is just one of many strange ‘Oxford’ words which will become an important part of your vocabulary in due course. ‘Boptail’? Bop + Cocktail = Boptail! Bops also wouldn’t be complete without a suitably cheesy playlist, and there will be plenty of cringe-worthy tunes to tantalise your eardrums. And if you fancy a boptail or two, chances are you’ll be bopping along like there’s no tomorrow. ENJOY!
