Animation Tips: Animate text, graphs, charts Animate Shapes, Lines, & Arrows or WordArt Introduce objects from the nearest side. Do not allow objects to cross the page.
Animation Design Tips: • Do NOT move pictures unnecessarily • Try to use stationary animations for graphics • Do NOT move or animate titles • Leave titles in the same place on each slide • Do NOT let objects cross the page • Introduce objects from the nearest side
Drive-in Effects • Drive-in effects are also called Entry Animations fly from left wipe right box in horizontal blinds
Entry Animation and Sound Go to….Slideshow / Custom Animation Change Entry Animation – wipe, fly, etc.. Add Sound Effects – but not too noisy!
Find More Sounds • For sound effects on objects Go to …. Slide Show / Custom Animation Entry Animation/ Sound/ Other Sound • Find more sounds at C:/ Windows / Media Add “ .wav ” sounds
Custom Animations Click on the plant • Slide Menu /Custom Animation • Add sounds • Apply transitions • Change entry effects • order of appearance • speed and timing
Animate with a Purpose • The animation should enhance your message • Look at the shape and direction of your the object. • Design the entire slide. • Make the animation suit the tone of your presentation.
