KIPP Schools: Transforming Education for Underserved Youth (1995-2015)

From humble beginnings in 1995, KIPP Academy has grown into a national network of schools serving over 28,000 students across 20 states and Washington D.C. This innovative education model focuses on traditionally underserved populations, with 85% of students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. By 2015, KIPP aims to support over 55,000 students and have 10,000 alumni in college. With a commitment to best-in-class practices, KIPP is dedicated to driving educational excellence and equity while becoming a catalytic force in its communities.
