Appeal Process Outline for ID and MM Programs Residents' Concerns and Complaints

This document outlines the appeal process for residents in the ID and MM programs regarding concerns or complaints. Residents may bring complaints to various levels, and resolutions can be achieved at any stage of the outlined process. The process involves site or rotation supervisors, Program Directors (PDs), and the Resident Representative on the IDMMREC Committee, which comprises leaders in Pathology and Molecular Medicine. For matters concerning a PD, the other PD can initiate the process. The resident filing a complaint can choose whether to include a resident representative from outside the ID and MM programs.
