  1. Planet Tad By Blaise

  2. Summary Tad has an agenda. SURVIVE 7TH GRADE. Tad is a seventh grader who decides he needs a blog to store his thoughts. In this book, Tad goes through many awesome adventures, and some crummy ones, too. Tad also wants to grow a mustache, do a kickflip on his skateboard, and other things. Planet Tad is a hysterical book, and will keep you glued to your book! 5/5 stars!

  3. R For my R, I’m going to show you some samples of Tad’s posts. Here we go:

  4. January 5 I wonder if spiders have their own version of Spider-Man, where a spider gets bitten by a radio-active human and winds up being able to read and balance his checkbook.

  5. January 21 Chuck and I were debating: If a fast-food mascot were making your food, which one would you go with—Ronald McDonald, the Burger King, Wendy, or the Arby’s hat? We both agreed that we wouldn’t choose the hat, but after that, it got harder. I said I’d go with the King, but Chuck pointed out that a king probably has people preparing food for him, so he’d be unfamiliar with proper cooking techniques and wouldn’t know how to cook your food to the proper internal temperature. (Chuck had food poisoning once, and ever since, he’s been terrified of it. I once saw him ask a lunch lady to reheat his pudding cup to kill any bacteria.) Chuck said he’d go with Wendy, but I said that she was even less likely to know anything about preventing food poisoning. Plus, I know how gross my little sister, Sophie, is, and I wouldn’t trust anything she prepared. So that left Ronald McDonald, and we both agreed that if we had to choose a between a burger made by a clown and nothing, we’d pick nothing.

  6. July 24 I bet chickens get angry at birds who can fly but who choose to walk.

  7. September 17 In bio class, we’re learning about bacteria. On Thursday, Mr. Hamilton ran a swab across Leanne Chu’s desk and then swiped it on a petri dish. Friday, he showed us all the bacteria that had grown on the dish overnight. It was pretty cool, but it totally freaked Leanne out. She showed up today with a big bottle of Purell, and kept squirting it on her hands and staring at her desk like it was gonna attack her. Mr. Hamilton tried to calm her down and told her that there’s bacteria on everything, even the food we eat. I don’t think it worked, though. I saw her in the cafeteria later, closely examining a fish stick like she was looking for germs.

  8. E For my E, I’m going to show you bad yearbook pictures. This relates to the book because near the end of the book, Tad talks about how he never has had a single good yearbook picture (Read the book to find out if he finally gets one). Here are some pictures:

  9. Thanks for watching!!! AND REMEMBER WHAT TAD SAID… “Not eating green eggs and ham seems like a really good policy to me.” -Tad
