  1. Report on Inter-School Debate held at Kaushalya World School. On July 11, 2014, Delhi Public School, GBN, participated in the Inter-School Debate Competition held at Kaushalya World School in Greater Noida. Students from seventeen Noida and Greater Noida schools such as VishwaBharti School, Ryan International School, Apeejay School, St. John’s School, Jesus and Mary School, G D Goenka School, Lotus Valley School, Jaypee Public School and Mayoor School are to name a few, participated in the Competition. The Speakers were judged on the basis of Content, Expressions, Diction, Confidence and Rebuttal. The Topic for the Juniors was “Holiday Homework is a waste of Time” and for the Seniors was “Reality T.V. shows for kids should be banned”. A team of three students in each category, one speaker of For and Against the motion each and an interjector had participated in the competition. Ms. SiyaSoni of Grade V won the Best Speaker Trophy in the Juniors and All three participants for Juniors, SiyaSoni, Abhinav Kashyap and AdditMalhotra won the Best Overall Trophy. Ms. Jigyasa Arya of Grade IX won the Best Speaker Trophy in the Seniors. Ms. GauriMadaan and Ms. KatyaaniKashyap received the participation certificates. “ Champions aren’t made in the gym or playground, Champions are made from something they have Deep inside them………a desire, a dream, a vision.”
