Arrangements • Parallel Sessions (Thursday-Saturday) • University lecture theatres • Schuster (Physics) building: 4 lecture theatres, 140-250 • Roscoe (adjoining) building: 2 lecture theatres, 236-450 • Also seminar rooms: 40-50 • Accommodation in walking distance: • 100 in University hotel @ £64-50 • 300 in Hall of residence @ £36-00 • Also hotels • Second (more remote) hall of residence if required • Plenary Sessions (Monday-Wednesday) • Bridgewater Hall

  6. Budget and conference fee • Bridgewater Hall is expensive (37K) • Sponsorship so far • PPARC 15 K • IPPP Durham 10K • IoP 3K • Omit lunch provision (regrettably. Will reinstate if possible) • Omit secretarial costs (dangerous) • Cost 342 Euros assuming 576 delegates • Conference fee 350 +?
