  2. What did he do in the Civil War? • He led a rebellion in the Civil War. • His rebellion led to the Civil War by causing people to end the slavery thinking it wasn’t fair for the other blacks.

  3. Who was he? • He was a black slave preacher. • Nat Turner felt that god had called on him to lead his people out of slavery. • He led a rebellion and killed more than 50 whites.

  4. What is some background info about him? • Nat Turner was born on October 2nd, 1800 in Southampton Country, Virginia. • He grew up to become a slave preacher. • He died November 11th, 1831.

  5. Bibliography • scattered, the rebels, Turner's force became disorganized. After spending the night near some slave cabins, Turner, but were repulsed. Several of the rebels were captured. The remaining force then met the state, federal troops in final skirmish, in which one slave was killed, many escaped, including Turner. In the end, the rebels had stabbed, and shot.
