  1. "Baptism" What Has Changed?

  2. Has The Will Of God Changed Heb 13:8-9 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday , today, and forever. 9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. Mal 3:6 "For I am the LORD, I do not change”

  3. Bloody Sacrifices

  4. Ex 10:25-26 But Moses said, "You must also give us sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. 26 Our livestock also shall go with us; not a hoof shall be left behind. For we must take some of them to serve the LORD our God, and even we do not know with what we must serve the LORD until we arrive there." 1 Peter 2:4-6 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Many Things Have Changed

  5. Whether in China or Here!

  6. Isa 1:13-14 Bring no more futile sacrifices ; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies — I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. 14 Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them. 15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Matt 15:9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'" 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." 13 "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. 14 Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch." Some Have Not Served Properly !

  7. Can You Even Imagine God's Anger

  8. Has Baptism Changed ? • Not at all, it is the same as it was in the first New Testament Church • They were told to…. • Acts 2:38-40 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

  9. Why were they told this? • Sin has always been the destructive force for mankind • On the day of Pentecost, the sin was murder, which was the sin that the Jews has just committed

  10. Their Plan Was To "KILL"

  11. What could it be today? • Today it could be any sin • Rom 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

  12. Sin’s destructive force ! • Lord said to Cain • Gen 4:6-7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." • Gen 18:20-21 "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, 21 I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know."

  13. Can you imagine this event !

  14. Baptism changes man’s life ! • Rom 6:2-4 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. • Baptism changes our walk in life • No longer are we living like the world but living to please God in a new life separate from sin

  15. Old man is crucified with him ! • Rom 6:5-6 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin • 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin . 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

  16. Shall we sin because we are under grace • Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. • 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

  17. How must baptized believers live? • Ex 33:12-13 Then Moses said to the LORD, "See, You say to me, 'Bring up this people.' But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said,'I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.' 13 Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people."

  18. God has not changedeven though his law has ! • Heb 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace , that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

  19. We must learn to do the right things to remain children ! • Heb 12:14-17 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; 16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. 17 For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

  20. Remember Baptism Puts UsIn a Saved Relationship But … • Luke 15:4-7 "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them,'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost !' 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
