Commitment • The NBA is dedicated to demonstrating leadership in social responsibility, using the popularity and visibility of its teams, players and the league to effect positive change around the world. • Donate $100 million to charity • Provide a million hours of hands on service • Build 250 places where kids and families can live, play and learn

  3. History of NBA Cares • Was launched in October 2005 • Was created to get the NBA involved in the community • Wanted to make a difference in the different NBA communities

  4. Accomplishments • Has 302,000 of hands on service • Has raised $50 million dollars for charity • Created 171 places where kids and families can live, learn, and play
