(first firmware update, then parameter modification) with NCU 710.2720.1720.2730.2

  8. OEM-ID The OEM-ID enables the assignment of the SINAMICS-CU local component number to a uniquely defined OEM global label. Through predefinition within UPTopo, SINAMICS parameter p7859[component number] within DO1 can be written at the time of update package execution when evaluating a UP topology by UPShield.

  9.   UPShield: Improvement of archive handling on NCU . When running an installation package, only those archives are created that were checked. In this way, execution time can be reduced if no data of a certain archive need to be modified. However, when running an update, all source areas need to be checked.

  10. A certain step activation within the step tree can be exported/imported via context menu (step-xml-file) . The exported file (*.uss) can be stored together with the installation/update package. In this way, step selection is automatically performed when running an installation/update package (step selection within UPShield). The step selection file (*.uss) can also be created externally using an ECAD system.

  11. UPShield stores the actual step selection when aborting the installation/update process . If UPShield is aborted for whatever reason, the operator is automatically offered the last step selection for recovery when restarting the package.
