  1. How do I enter purchases from our ProCard? Or what is a JInitiator and how do I get it installed on my PC?

  2. Open Internet Explorer and go to http://cobweb.sfasu.edu/sbradley/Jinitiator.html

  3. Click on the link there: http://jacktest.sfasu.edu:7778/forms90/f90servlet?form=sfa_test_form

  4. And wait … it could take a few seconds or several minutes, depending on network traffic and server load.

  5. The Information Bar is just below the IE Address Bar. Click the OK button.

  6. Click anywhere on the Information Bar …

  7. Click the selection Install ActiveX Control…

  9. Yes, you do want to install the software, so click the Install button.

  11. Don’t change the Destination Folder. Click the Next button.

  13. You would be wise to use Internet Explorer only at SFA, so click OK.

  15. Ready to log in. At this point, you’re on your own. Call Vicki Gibbs if you need training on Oracle Forms.
