  2. Background of the group Sadashiv Group by Founder Chairman Mr. Kewal Garg who is also a Chairman of D.B. Industries Association representing various groups of industries worth Rs.25 billion. After 3 decades Sadashiv Group has overall annual turnover of Rs. 1000 crores. In 1971, the firm started with stone and sand mines/crushers, then six brick kilns were set – up. In 1993 Sadashiv Group was formed, the group is manufacturing steel products. The group has under their belt five induction furnaces, three rolling mills, one G.I. pipes plant and one plant for the manufacturing of high quality steel. With a vision and foresight gained by its past experience the Sadashiv Group has moved in the shape of Sadashiv Infrastructure.. The projects conceived namely Sadashiv Alpine Residency at Zirakpur and Shalimar Mega Shopping Mall at Panchkula will prove to be the harbingers of a new era and will achieve a rare significance.
