Current Position – 31 March 2008 • Discussions between local areas and Government Office of the South East on-going • Currently within the 35 improvement targets - • West Berks NI 49, Wokingham NI 49, Bracknell NI 49, Slough NI 49 • Local Indicators • RBWM NI 49, Reading NI 49 • Arson Incidents(NI 33) - already a LAA stretch target in West Berkshire, Reading, Wokingham and RBWM

  4. Guidance to Fire and Rescue Services • Duty to co-operate • Cross cutting nature • Recommended measurements / local indicators- - Number of home risk checks - Number of young people engaged on Fire and Rescue Service activities - Number of School visits - Number of detections for arson
