  30. structural design The structural design was made by SAP program 3D modeling

  31. MinistryofTradeandEconomy Typical Plan Building 3D Model

  32. Codes: The structures are designed using practice code and specifications that control the design process and variables. The following codes and standards are used in this study: * ACI 318-08: American concrete institute provisions for reinforced concrete structure design. *UBC-97: code which is used here for seismic load parameters determination .

  33. Structural element: • Design will include the following elements : • 1) slab ( one way rib slab). • 2) beam ( main beam & secondary beam) . • 3) column . • 4) footing

  34. Design data: 1- Compressive strength of concrete (f\c) • beams • shear walls • columns • Footing • slabs 2- Yielding strength of steel (fy), 3- Bearing capacity of soil= f\c =400 kg/cm2 fy =4200 kg/cm2 4 kg/cm2

  35. Material :

  36. Preliminary Design: Beam thickness Main beam→ (60*50) cm Hidden beam→ (30*50) cm External beam→ (60*30) cm Column dimension G1 → d= 90 cm G2→ (40*40) cm G3→ (50*50) cm G4 → (55*55) cm G5 → (60*60) cm G6 → (70*70) cm G7 → (80*80) cm Slab thickness

  37. Loads : • Superimposed dead load=4.5 kN/m² • Superimposed dead load for carrage=2.5 kN/m² • Live load =5 kN/m²

  38. Check for sap model : • Compatibility check

  39. Check for sap model : Check equilibrium

  40. Check for sap model : local equilibrium (internal force )

  41. DynamicDesign: • Soil type Sc • Z = 0.2 • C v=0.32 • Ca =0.24

  42. Design: Design slab

  43. Design: Beams design

  44. Design: Column design

  45. Design: Column design

  46. Design: footing design
