  2. Vancouver – Jasper Board the VIA Rail train at Vancouver’s Pacific Central Station. Begin a gorgeous train ride to Jasper. Pass Suicide Rapids in the North Thompson Canyon and the Cisco Tunnels above the Fraser River. A Luxury dinner is served onboard, after which you may settle in to your comfortable cabin for the night. Overnight: Standard or deluxe cabin aboard the VIA Rail Day One

  3. Jasper Have breakfast and lunch on the train while traveling between the Monashee and CaribooMountain ranges. Arrive in the resort town of Jasper. Coach or taxi for a transfer to your hotel. Overnight: Hotel in Jasper Day two

  4. Jasper -- Banff Shuttle south along the famous Icefields Parkway, one of the most spectacular highways in North America. Travel through Banff National Park in Alberta and stop at the Columbia Icefield. Continue onto the slopes of the Athabasca Glacier aboard a specially designed vehicle. Guided tour and glacier information. Day three

  5. Option to step out onto the ice, formed by snow that fell more than 400 years ago. Relax at the Columbia Icefield Centre and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, continue to Lake Louise, known by some as the ‘Jewel of the Rockies.’ Stop to take some great photos Scenic drive to hotel in the resort town of Banff.Overnight: Hotel in Banff Day three continued

  6. Banff -- KamloopsAfter breakfast, re-board the Rocky Mountaineer train for a 2-day journey through the Rockies. Lunch is served at your seat, and complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are also provided. Day four

  7. Travel across the Continental Divide and through Yoho National Park and the famous Spiral Tunnels. Pass Craigellachie, where the ‘last spike’ was driven, completing the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885. Arrive in Kamloops, and check into hotel.Overnight: Hotel in Kamloops Day four cont’d

  8. Kamloops – Vancouver Re-board the Rocky Mountaineer train for the journey to Vancouver. Breakfast and lunch are once again served at your cozy seats. Follow the Thompson River through the awe inspiring landscape of British Columbia. Pass the raging turbulence of Hell’s Gate, where millions of gallons of water rush through the narrowest point of the Fraser Canyon. Day five

  9. Travel through the final range of mountains, the Pacific Coast Mountains, and into the gorgeous fields Fraser Valley. Arrive at the Vancouver train station, transfer via taxi to your selected hotel, where your amazing 5-day tour will end.Overnight: Hotel in Vancouver Day five cont’d
