  2. On Instructor Copy Reread your draft and either • Underline your claim about the way the interpretive process works, or • Write on the back of the draft your tentative claim about the way the interpretive process works.

  3. On Instructor Copy • Identify the strongest section of your paper. Explain why you believe it’s the strongest. • Identify the weakest section of your paper and explain why you believe it to be the weakest.

  4. On Instructor Copy Annotation Skill: GLOSSING Gloss your draft!

  5. On Instructor Copy • Reread it completely. • Proofread, making marks on your paper as necessary, including:- MECHANICAL ERRORS (punctuation)- SYNTAX ERRORS (sentence structure)- DICTION ERRORS (word choice) • When you’re finished, turn draft in to me.
