15. The Background summarizes the Session. There is additional guidance on preparation to teach the Session. Learning Plans model the components of a “5E Cycle” — engage, explore, explain, evaluate, extend — and contain sample activities and formative assessment strategies.

16. Choose tools that match your classroom equipment, access, and student needs. Coordinate with IT staff to make sure the tools you want to use are not blocked by the district Internet filter.

17. Video resources can provide background information and instruction for staff or students. Additional Lesson Plans are available for pre-teaching, re-teaching, or extending concepts. We include information on federal policy. Districts often have additional policies that cover Internet use.
