TreeLine EcoArt Initiative: Celebrating Nature through Art

TreeLine is an EcoArt project aiming to raise awareness of environmental issues by celebrating significant trees and engaging communities through interdisciplinary art practices. The program includes art exhibits, workshops, and partnering with local events and organizations. Launching in January 2010, TreeLine promotes sustainability by combining art and environmental conservation efforts.

  1. What is EcoArt? EcoArt practice seeks to restore, protect and preserve the world for its own sake, and to mediate human/world relations to this end. (Carruthers, 2006)

  2. TreeLine Aim TreeLine aims to raise awareness of and evoke an emotional response to environmental issues through inter-disciplinary art practice.
