  2. Parrots DEFENSES • PARROTS have wings and tail feathers. • They can camouflage themselves with their colors. • Their enemies are people, pythons, alligators and other birds.

  3. Characteristics • It’s feet are claws. • It’s mouth is a beak and it has no teeth. • It eats small animals and nuts.

  4. Habitat house • They live in the rain forest trees in Brazil. • They live in the zoo. • They live in the jungle. • You can buy one at a pet store. • They have different colors so it’s to easy hide. • They do not have very many enemies.

  5. Classification groups • A parrot is a type of bird. • It is a large bird(which is 3 feet). • Its body covering is colorful feathers. • It has 3 babies at one time.

  6. Fun facts Parrots fly in flocks. There are 3 kinds of macaws. There are 4 kinds of cockatoos Their claws are like hands.
