This educational resource explores the concepts of stereotypes and assumptions. A stereotype is a belief often accepted as truth but may not be accurate, while an assumption is a belief held without sufficient knowledge. Participants will engage in activities to identify and reflect on common stereotypes, research a chosen stereotype in groups, and present their findings. The session encourages critical thinking about how beliefs can evolve and the impact of stereotypes on individuals and communities, fostering a deeper understanding of these social constructs.
