In Class 5, students have engaged in a variety of exciting subjects. In Literacy, they wrote poignant poems titled "I Will Put in the Box!" reflecting personal secrets. Numeracy features daily times table challenges, promoting quick math skills. Science involves an engaging air pressure experiment, while Geography includes creating river models to understand geographical features. In Art, students explored printmaking inspired by William Morris. Lastly, in ICT, they used Microsoft tools to create texts, showcasing their creativity.

Literacy • We have been writing poems. We have thought of a variety of things we don’t want anyone to know about and made a poem. The title is I will put in the box!
Numeracy • Every day we come in from playtime we have a times table challenge. Every one has a sheet of paper and they have to answer all the questions in 2 mins.
Science • In science we have been doing an experiment about air pressure. We filled a bottle of water and put a hole in the side. When the lid is on the water can not come out the hole because there is no air.
Geography In geography we have been making river models with the delta, meander, middle course and the source.
Art • In art we have been doing print making of William Morris and we have painted on polystyrene and printed on paper. By Kurtis By Jamie
