  4. 1965 Snowmaking New Lift Wider Trails 63,000 skiers

  5. 1966 364 skiers stranded – 3 days Section 5 High School race 80,000 skiers, 103 ski days

  6. 1967 Senator Robert Kennedy skis Bristol Infinity trail opens 91,000 skiers

  7. 1968 Rocket and Sunset width doubled Ski School expanded 12 FT and 25 PT Worlds largest illuminated ski resort

  8. 1969 - 1970 Skier visits break 100,000 for first time 112,892

  9. 1972 Expands operation to 7 days Ten acres of new trails Outer Orbit, Upper Meteor, and Upper Infinity

  10. 1974 - 1975 Snowmaking capacity is doubled Guarantees 90 days of skiing

  11. 1975 - 1976 Guarantees 100 days of skiing

  12. 1980 Free Run introduced (9:00 – 9:30AM) 6 – hour twilight introduced

  13. 1982 - 1983 $500,000 snowmaking expansion Peanut Patrol introduced Children’s ski program introduced

  14. 1984 High Tech Triple Chair Lift capacity increased by 67% Upper and Lower Rocket widened

  16. 1986 “Seven and Under” free season passes Snowmaking increased by 40%

  17. 1987 - 1988 Northstar Village is built Ski tuning adds automatic grinder

  18. 1988 - 1989 Phase 1 one of Sunset Lodge opens Galaxy is expanded and reshaped

  19. 1990 - 1991 Bristol ranked 9th among 117 ski resorts in Mid-Atlantic region

  20. 1991 - 1992 Sunset gets new look More snowmaking

  21. 1993 Sunset Lodge final phase of construction Second consecutive season of 129 days of skiing

  22. 1994 Sunset Lodge expansion opens

  23. 1996 - 1997 www.bristolmt.com launched Orion’s Belt added for snowboarders

  24. 1999 Comet Express Quad high-speed detachable quad added

  25. 2000 Addition of Morning Star, Shooting Star, Eclipse, and Hale Bop Morning Star quad chairlift

  26. 2002 Nova and Milky Way added New half-pipe and terrain park Summit Demo Center added

  27. 2004 40th Anniversary Terrain park features on Shooting Star New boot dryers in rental shop Snowmaking system automated
