  1. “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness” (Romans 4:5).

  2. “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works” (Romans 4:6).

  3. Salvation is without any works of self-righteousness! Eternal life is a free gift from God, paid for by Jesus’ literal precious blood… “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ…” (1st Peter 1:18,19).

  4. We need JESUS’ RIGHTEOUSNESS to get to Heaven… “For he [God the Father] hath made him [God the Son] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (1st Corinthians 5:21).

  5. We need HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS… “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). We are all dirty, rotten, hell-deserving sinners and have NO righteousness of our own to offer God… “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away” (Isaiah 64:6).

  6. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” —Romans 6:23 “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” —Acts 10:43

  7. “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” —Romans 3:19

  8. We are GUILTY of violating God’s holy Law and deserve to be punished in the fires of Hell; but thanks be to God, He sent His only begotten Son into the world (God in the flesh) to pay for our sins with His own blood… “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” —Hebrews 9:12

  9. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16,17).

  10. “Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:10-12).

  11. “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” —Galatians 3:26 “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” —Acts 10:43
