  2. What is team harmony? • Individuals working together to achieve better performances than they can alone • Team chemistry takes effort - Videos

  3. Individual commitment • Remove your previous identity – Kobe video • Absorb yourself into the team • Many times it takes a coach or captain to help

  4. Embrace differences • The team is probably made up of people you didn’t chose • Everybody is now a teammate, accept your differences and make them strengths • Understand, be more flexible, spend extra time with these people

  5. Truly get to know each other • Make an effort to invite everybody and talk to everybody • Personally find out about your teammates, probe deeper than the surface

  6. communication • Ask for help • Give and receive constructive criticism • LISTEN LISTEN LISTEN!!!! • Especially as a coach and leader

  7. Listening skills • Mouth shut • Eye contact • Physical movements (nodding)

  8. Solve Problems While they are still small • Courage • Put the team’s goal above the personal conflicts • “refusing to pass the ball to a player”
