Understanding Bullying: Definitions, Consequences, and Solutions

Bullying is defined as aggressive behavior involving intimidation, insults, and domination. Common examples include kicking, pushing, and physically lungeing at others. The consequences of bullying extend to both the victim, who may experience emotional pain and social isolation, and the bully, who may face disciplinary actions and worsening peer relationships. Personal experiences demonstrate that bullies can often be victims of their circumstances. Adults can play a vital role in prevention by intervening effectively and providing support to those involved.
