  2. TTB 3 Action 2.2: Filling the gaps towards the definition of carbon balance with a cross border approach through direct field measurements: trees measurements and location.

  3. TTB 3 Action 2.3: Filling the gaps towards the definition of carbon balance with a cross-border approach through direct field measurements in the identified areas, also using the BIOME-BGC model.

  4. TTB 3 Action 2.5: Data processing on field measurements to evaluate the quantity of carbon immobilized by the various territorial contexts, the carbon kinetic and release and the social and economic variables at cross-border level.

  5. TTB 3 Action 4.1: TTB 4 (IT-PP2): to assess the first data processing on field measurements of Act. 2.5 and deliver the common transnational guidelines for the pilot actions.

  6. TTB 3 Action 2.6: Local working boards in 7 CADSES countries between EU and non-EU among local stakeholders to raise awareness about local situation and integration with Regional Agenda 21 processes (bottom up approach to generate a local consensus on pilot actions of WP4, to share local goals towards the opportunities given by supporting actions to improve the management of forestry resources).

  7. TTB 3 Action 3.2: Definition of an integrated transnational tool to quantify CO2, applicable to the main agricultural and forest systems. It will allow to highlight the capabilities of the agricultural and forest systems in intervening as sink of carbon according to the different management methods of the resources applied and developed in other research projects (see Act. 1.2)

  8. TTB 3 Action 3.3: Definition and application of a full carbon accounting conceptual model to identify the economic impacts and different possible scenarios deriving from the application of Kyoto Protocol in the agricultural and forest zones of project areas and other representatives CADSES areas. The focus is on economic aspects to the role of sink carried out by the protected areas and, more in general, by the forest areas in the carbon balance.

  9. TTB 3 Action 4.2: Local research centres, in particular located in forest areas, skills development so as to support their capacity building at local level. The qualification will be realized through a coaching support towards the local research operators by scientific experts.

  10. TTB 3 Action 3.1: TTB 5 (AT-PP7): to monitor transnational tools and models of Act. 3.2 and 3.3.

  11. TTB 3 Action 2.1: TTB 6 (Greece-PP8): to assess the report on data processing on field measurements (TTB 3 already done).
