1. Hi everybody out there, I have a problem with mrtg. It happens in mrtg 2.9.17 as well as in 2.9.29: I made a external script, so that I can make a CPU-Usage statistics. The script outputs: 68 32 unknown hal2001 (and writes the same values to a file as well - for debugging reasons). When mrtg has done it's job I look into my mrtg.log file. this shows me, that mrtg has got the correct values. Here are the first lines of mrtg.log 1058795478 68 32 1058795478 68 32 68 32 1058795178 55 41 55 41 1058795100 54 41 55 44 1058794800 55 41 65 44 But when I look into the generated html-page, it tells me, that there is an actual usr load of 65 (in the value "incoming") and an actual sys load of 34 (in the "outgoing" value). See the attached screenshot (See attached file: screenshot.tif) in my mrtg.cfg file I defined the statistics as follows: Target[hal2001.cputil]: `/home/mrtg/bin/mk_mrtg_format.pl /var/log/in/hal2001/CPUtil` Title[hal2001.cputil]: CPU Auslastung auf HAL2001 PageTop[hal2001.cputil]:
CPU Auslastung auf HAL2001
MaxBytes[hal2001.cputil]: 100 Unscaled[hal2001.cputil]: ymwd Options[hal2001.cputil]: growright, gauge, nopercent, integer, unknaszero, noinfo WithPeak[hal2001.cputil]: wmy LegendI[hal2001.cputil]: usr: LegendO[hal2001.cputil]: sys: Ylegend[hal2001.cputil]: % ShortLegend[hal2001.cputil]: % Legend1[hal2001.cputil]: usr (Durchschnitt) Legend2[hal2001.cputil]: sys (Durchschnitt) Legend3[hal2001.cputil]: usr (Spitze) Legend4[hal2001.cputil]: sys (Spitze) Who can help me an tell me, what's going wrong? Why are there wrong values in the resulting html-page? Freundliche Grüße i. A.
