The Art & Design department will provide you with an A5 sketchpad to turn into your own visual diary. Fill its pages with drawings, collages, photos, or paintings using any materials you have at home. Express yourself through images of yourself, places you visit, hobbies, or interests. Remember to bring it back to school to showcase your creativity, organization skills, and interests.

  1. P7 Presentation for S1 Art & Design Visual Diary

  2. What is it ? • It is an A5 sketchpad that the Art & Design department will provide for you to keep and make into a visual diary • It looks like this >>> • It could look like this!

  3. What do you have to do? Fill the pages with pictures – drawings, collages, photos or paintings.

  4. How do you do this? • You use what ever materials you have at home. Pencils, felt tips, paints, collage

  5. It could be any objects you have around your house

  6. It could be about you!

  7. It could be about places you visit!

  8. It could be about where you live!

  9. It could be about your hobbies and interests

  10. If you are still stuck for ideas check the idea lists in your sketchpad.

  11. What do I do with it then? • You MUST bring it back to the OHS with you to your first Art & Design lesson.

  12. How will it help the Art & Design department?It will show us….. • How well organised you are. • How creative and imaginative you are. • What you look like. • What sorts of things you like doing • Where you live or where you have been on holiday.
