DEFINICIN El cuadro de CAD se instaura como consecuencia de un dficit de la concentracin de insulina circulante, asociado a insulino resistencia y un incremento de la produccin de Hormonas contrarreguladoras (glucagn, catecolaminas, cortisol y hormona de crecimiento).     12. FISIOPATOGENIA

    21. 2) Signos de deshidratacin -Enoftalmos -Mucosas secas -Dientes sin brillo -Piel caliente con prdida de turgencia -Signo del pliegue (en menores de 2 aos) 3) Signos de acidosis: -Rubicundez facial -Aliento cetnico -Hiperventilacin (Respiracin de Kussmaul u otra manifestacin) -Dolor abdominal -Nuseas y/o vmitos -Dolor lumbar

    26. Los criterios bioqumicos para diagnstico son: Glucemia > 250 mg/dl, cetonemia y cetonuria. pH < 7,3 y bicarbonato < 15 mEq/L Deshidratacin > 5%. Con/sin vmitos, con/sin afectacin del estado general.
