2. 10. What is Shirk? It is to worship other than Allaah. • And the proof is Allaah’s saying: • وَاعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ وَلاَ تُشْرِكُواْ بِهِ شَيْئًا • Worship Allaah alone and do not join anything as a partner with him… • An-Nisa (4): 36

3. 11. What is the ruling of making pictures of things that have souls? Making pictures of things that have souls is a major sin. And the proof is the hadeeth of IbnMas’ood: The Prophet ( ) said ‘Verily, the people who will be punished the most on the Day of Judgment will be the picture makers’ Al-Bkhuari and Muslim salalaahu alaihi wasallam

4. 12. What is the definition of worship? It is a comprehensive word for every action that Allaah loves and is pleased with. • And the proof is Allaah’s saying: • إِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمْ وَلَا يَرْضَى لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ • If you disbelieve, indeed Allaah is not in need of you and he deslikesdesbelief for His slaves, and if you are grateful, He is pleased with you… • AzZumar(39): 7

5. 13. Where is Allaah? Allaah is above the heavens, above His throne. • And the proof is Allaah’s saying: • ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِي السَّمَاء أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ • Do you feel secure that He who is above the heavens will not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would quake? • Al-Mulk (67): 16
