Current Statistics: DRUGS AND ADOLESCENTS The National Institute on Drug Abuse Monitoring the Future Survey 45,449 Students from 395 public, private schools in the 8th, 10th and 12th grades participated in the 2012 study • Illicit Drug Use • Marijuana • Synthetic Marijuana • Nonmedical use Prescription and Over the Counter Medicines • Alcohol • Tobacco

Eligibility Requirements • Adolescents • CYT is designed for the treatment of adolescents between the ages of 12 and 18 with problems related to marijuana use, as indicated by one of the following: • Meeting criteria for cannabis, alcohol, opioid or other abuse or dependence diagnosis • CAFAS Score of higher than 50 meeting SED requirements • Experiencing problems • Emotional • Physical • Legal involvement • Social • Academic problems • Family Stressors/Dyanmics

Cannabis Youth Treatment Series • Components include: 1) Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adolescent Cannabis Users: 5 Sessions 2) The Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Supplement: 7 Sessions 3) Family Support Network for Adolescent Cannabis Users 4)The Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach for Adolescent Cannabis Users 5) Multidimensional Family Therapy for Adolescent Cannabis Users
