Some statistics • Over 80% of all Americans use a social network • Americans spend more time on Facebook than any other site • Nearly 23% of online time is spent on social networks • 50% of small business owners reported gaining new customers through social media-most notably through Facebook & LinkedIn

Why Social Media? • In our current society is all about WHO you know rather than WHAT you know. • Provides the opportunity to reach a large number of potential customers not only in the U.S but around the world. • Allows you to actively promote your own business and communicate with others in the same field. • Cost effective: These sites are free to join and maintain. The only major cost is time.

Twitter Facebook • This site differs from the others because you network through status updates of 140 characters only: quick & to the point. • All of the hotels we service except for the O.T.A are on twitter along with Hilton, Marriot, and iPreferred • Success of getting your message across on twitter depends upon a number of things: 1) Your frequency of tweets 2) people “re-tweeting” your tweets, 3) “mentions” of you as a member. • The most popular social networking site with tens of millions of users and businesses signed up • Allows you the chance to reach a more specific demographic targeted for your business needs • Offers advertisement opportunities on their site where you can choose the specific demographic you are aiming your services at. LinkedIn • A social site for the working professional geared towards career networking. • Allows you the opportunity to connect with individuals & businesses in the same field. • Similar to Facebook the site has many groups each with a specific interest allowing you to more accurately reach the audience you want to. • You can post jobs as well as search for jobs.

Compeititon THEM US • Inroomplus.com is a company that provides the products for the mini bars as well as services to help with branding and customizing the look of their products to better benefit their customers. • Minibarsystems is a company similar to ours. They provide only the minibars and have options of traditional, semi-automated, and fully automated. • We need to separate ourselves from the rest and show the world why our technology and products are superior to the others. • Besides selling the products we are selling our company. Our website should be more colorful and interactive to draw in potential contracts
