  5. Animal Manure Management Grants, current in 2003 • 49 total grants • 11 dairy • 7 beef • 13 poultry • 6 swine • 7 aquaculture • 14 unspecified by species

  6. Summary • Total funding, nationwide has decreased in 2002 and 2003. Is this a trend? • The Southern region has the most projects underway. • Poultry (turkeys, layers, and broilers) has the most projects of any species. • Land application has the most projects of the 10 topic/categories
