Jan and Stan will be trick-or-treating on Halloween night at eight houses on Shady Lane.
They live in a very friendly neighborhood, and all the neighbors want to be sure they don’t miss the trick-or-treaters.
The neighbors have given different bits of information to Jan and Stan to help them plan their route.
The neighbors are all very generous and talkative, so Jan they need to allow 10 minutes for each stop.
You and your partner’s job will be to help Jan and Stan find the best path to get the most candy.
Mr. Green at 107 Shady Lane has to leave for the evening at 5:30 P.M.
Mrs. Smith wants to be the first to hand out treats when the trick-or-treating begins at 5:00 P.M. She lives two houses west of Mrs. Jones.
Ms. Rose, who lives at 103 Shady Lane, wants to be visited after Ms. Daisy before Mr. Brown.
They have been told to go straight to Mr. White’s house at 101 Shady after visiting 104 Shady Lane.
When they are finished at Mr. Green’s, they are to go next door to Ms. Daisy’s house.
Mrs. Jones, who lives across the street from Mr. Green, wants to be visited right after Mr. Brown, who lives at 106 Shady Lane.
