  1. Description of the Forfeited Asset Fund Expenditure Approval Process A proposed expenditure is evaluated by Chief of Police and his staff. If the Chief of Police decides to proceed, the proposed expenditure is prepared for presentation to the FAF Committee. The FAF Committee review was established by the City Manager’s Office in 2002. Upon approval of a proposed expenditure by the Committee, the item is prepared for placement on the agenda for an upcoming City Commission meeting.

  2. Currently Available Balances • State Forfeited Asset Balance = $249,014.46 • Encumbered State15% “Set Aside” = $14, 990.47 • Federal Forfeited Asset Balance = $101,234.46 • Combined Total = $365,239.39
