  2. Brief Description What they wear-They wear scrubs. What tools they use-They use lots of tools. They use steppers, walkers, mats, exercise bikes, and treadmills. As you can see you’ll be very active.

  3. Education/Training Education-You have to have a post graduate professional degree. Doctoral programs usually last 3 years. MPT programs require 2 to 3 years of study. Training-You have to go to a 7 year program. 4 years in college and 3 years for a doctoral degree.

  4. Salary $36.69 per hour. $76,310 per year.

  6. Job Outlook Employment of a P.T. is expected to increase 39% from 2010 to 2020.
