  7. Columbus Learning Center • Columbus Learning Center is the building that was conceived, designed and built for use by all of the stakeholders. It is occupied by all three of the higher educational institutions administrators, Work One, the College & Career Exploration Center, Center for Teaching and Learning and classrooms and a lecture hall that are used by the community and the educational institutions.

SUCCESSES OF PARTNERSHIPS FORMED IN COLUMBUS, IN • Completion of the 130,000 sq ft Columbus Learning Center worth $29.7 million • Unprecedented collaboration between community, business and education leaders • $1.1 million raised for the support of the nursing programs - faculty and supplies • $3 million in bridge money for degree program start ups for all three institutions • $211,000 Strategic Skills Initiative grants from Dept of Workforce Development • Comprehensive transfer of credit agreements between IUPUC and Ivy Tech Community College. • Development of the South Central Hospital and Education Advisory Group • $4 million in CAPE grants • 5 additional bachelor degree programs and 1 master’s degree added to IUPUC course offerings • Teamed with BSCS to develop advisory team to support innovation to secondary education
