Engineer Selection Required if any federal dollars are involved in the project at any time Simplified process of interviewing at least 3 firms Phone, written (mailed or faxed), in-person Sample forms can be obtained from website Three knowledgeable people must be involved in the selection process, review the firms submission, rank the firms Final ranking and selection passed by resolution Negotiate with top firm, if negotiations not successful, then negotiate with firm ranked second Keep documentation for possible audit Group projects by year by district by funding type (BR, STP, Grants, etc) by project type (road vs bridge) CED#1
