What are we doing differently? • Wider plan to tackle homelessness in Nottingham – in year and longer term: • Support and focus prevention • Increase supply of temporary accommodation • Increasing the security of settled accommodation • Winter measures to tackle rough sleeping • £100k fund to bolster support throughout winter 2016/17 • 48 extra beds provided through partnership with homelessness sector
What are we doing differently? • More recognition of complex needs • Greater flexibility for introduction of Housing First approach • Relationships / Psychologically Informed Environments (PIES) • Focusing on what matters to people using services
