CHAPTER 18Food Marketing Individual Series Event • Purpose • The Food Marketing Individual Series Event consists of a 100-question multiple-choice comprehensive exam and role-plays. • The role-play portion of the event requires participants to accomplish a task by translating what they have learned into effective, efficient, and spontaneous action. • The five performance indicators specify the distinct tasks the participant must accomplish during the role-play.

CHAPTER 18Food Marketing Individual Series Event • Scenario • You are a Web designer who must design an attractive website for Fresh Produce. • You must explain how the website will emphasize the grocery store’s uniqueness and contribute to this image by offering features such as an online newsletter and recipes for healthy living.
