  4. Brazilian Federal Senate Library Staff: 96 employees (28 librarians) On-line OPAC, digital and virtual library, international data bases (Ebsco, SCielo Proquest) Government libraries consortium (15) 170,000 books, 3,800 journals, 11,000 reference books Collection focused on Law

  5. CASA DO SABER • Project started by a Brasilia gasoline station network • Building 17 community libraries • First time that the Brasilia librarians will coordinate a private project • Residents donated used books
