Performances of SwissLodging • NEGATIVE POINTS • Prices competitiveness • High costs of work and services • 2000 : Lodging and catering prices : 28% cheaper abroad • 2008-2009 : Increasing difference due to rate exchanges. • 2011-2012 : Strong franc • Lodging supply • 50% of hotels are small and not ranked • Evolution is still inferior compared to our neighbours • From the 90’s : infrastructures are missing. • POSITIVE POINTS • Quality labels • Improving Swiss Lodging Performances -> quality controls • Competitive sector • High qualification of workers
