  2. Grading Scale • 75% Tests and Projects (Summative) • 25% Homework and quizzes (Formative)

  3. Absences 1) Extracurricular absence - try to get assignment before absences 2) Multi day absences – if possible look at assignment on my web site on calendar 3) Absent the day before a test – Only a review day be ready to take the test 4) Absent the day of the test – must make up the test the following Friday morning (6:30) Room 4109 or Wednesday afternoon (till 4:00) LGI 4212

  4. Tutorials • Monday and Tuesday afterschool Wednesday and Thursday mornings • National Honor Society Tuesday Nights Math make-up Test • Before school Friday 6:30 – bell Room 4109 • After school Wednesday 2:45- 4:00 LGI 4212

  5. Grades • Please monitor grades on HAC • Username - student’s 6 digit ID number • Password – student’s computer code

Student will need to: Get the form off my web site the day the test is given back Get it signed by parents, teacher, and AP Return form by the day before they want to retest Do test corrections, check with me for correctness and turn in day they retest Retest on days given on form Reassessment Policy- Summative Grades Only Late work Policy 25 points off 1st day late 50 points off 2nd day late Zero 3rd day late

  7. 1st Semester 1st six weeks Point, lines & planes Angles Logic & Start basic proofs 2nd six weeks Parallel & perpendicular lines More proofs Triangles & congruent triangles 3rd six weeks Special segments in triangles & points of concurrency Right Triangles & Pythagorean Theorem
