  1. The Stolen Money By: Liza Bradley

  2. Once upon a time in a far away land many years ago there lived a King and Queen who were very poor. They had only two pennies and one dime. One day they stole money from a little girl named Lilly and her family, for they were very rich.

  3. Many years past and the King and Queen had twins. They had one boy and one girl. Meanwhile, Lilly was thirteen and was shopping in the town for food to eat.

  4. wishes So Lilly milked the cow. Her mother and father would be there soon. All of the sudden she saw a bottle. She picked it up and a genie popped out. He asked her if she had three wishes for him.

  5. “Yes” she said. “First I think when I was a tiny baby the King and Queen stole our money.” “I wish for it back,” she said. “I’m sorry but I cannot make that wish come true,” said the genie. “Then I think I will wait,” said Lilly. When her parents got home she told her parents about the three wishes the genie had given her.

  6. They liked it so she showed them the bottle. Instead of a bottle it was a ball. Lilly opened the ball. Inside were three fairies. They said they would give one wish. They’re wish was that they’re dog would have three puppies.

  7. Then the genie popped out of the ball. He said that he would accept Lilly’s wish. So, they got their money back and lived happily ever after.
