  2. The surge in Asian snacks, which includes Pocky, Yan Yan, shrimp chips, and nori, reflects the country's passion for its Asian-American heritage, both actual and imagined. • Pocky'sJapanese creator, Ezaki Glico, stated aspirations to dominate the world with its chocolate-covered cookie sticks. By 2020, it set a target to reach $1 billion in yearly sales abroad, a milestone no Asian snack brand had previously reached. Although it only made a little over $500 million in revenue in 2019, its increasing trend was impressive. The U.S. division of Glico had sales of about $20 million in 2015. It had $64 million last year. • You can even see a range of Aggretsuko snacks inspired by Japanese anime character Aggretsuko, who is a red panda who lives in Tokyo and works in an accounting firm. Her bosses take advantage of her and add deadlines since she may be a bit of a pushover. She adopts the after-work persona of a heavy metal karaoke singer because she is so unbelievably anxious. • This character creates its impact on every anime sucker and the Aggretsuko snack makes its place in every home as a most demandable snack.

  3. 1: Pocky • This food is so well-liked in Japan that November 11 is designated as National Pocky Day. Fun fact: Because the sticks resemble the number one, solitary individuals are expected to give each other this snack on that day. The original flavors of the sticks were chocolate and strawberry, but they are now available in matcha, chocolate banana, and cookies and cream. • 2: Mochi • The ice cream mochi is the most popular variety of Japanese mochi in America; however, there are many others. With a sweet filling within, mochi is a chewy, soft, and invariably "wonderful" glutinous rice snack. If you're in the mood for something classic, the red bean taste of ice cream is strongly advised. There are also ice cream mochi made with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors. • 3: Taiyaki • These appetizers, called "bungeoppang" in Korea and "taiyaki" in Japan, are filled with sweet red beans. Due to its growing popularity, bakeries and cafés all over the world are increasingly serving this snack as desserts, sometimes with soft serve inside.

  4. 4: Shrimp Chips • You already know you're going to finish the entire bag of these lovelies once you've cracked open the bag. The feel of these shrimp chips is similar to that of Cheetos but without the orange dust that would go all over your hands. • 5: Daifuku • A popular Japanese treat that dates back to the Edo era is called mamedaifuku. A rice cake filled with anko, soybeans, or azuki beans makes up the dessert. Although it can also be served with coffee, mamedaifuku is frequently served during Japanese tea ceremonies. Many people think it's a breakfast food that needs to be eaten the same day it's made.
