  2. Roast Profiler • Presenting the Millennium Profiler series roaster control system. • This presentation will walk you through the settings and operations of your roaster.

  3. Main Menu To Settings Menu (Password Protected) Roaster On/Off Button

  4. Manual Provides manual control to the roaster. You use the interface for better control then you will get from a hand operated Roaster. Sets the target temperature of the roaster. Sets the speed of the circulating fan. Records the fan speed, Burner set point and temperature settings of the roaster until Stop Learn is pressed. Makes Programming a snap!

  5. Learn Menu Once a Stop Learn is pressed, choose the profile number, label the new profile, edit the quench time (if used) and other options and save, or press cancel. We have Three Different types of Profiling. Another program just uses up to 8 different set points or “Targets” for some this model is easier to use and understand. When the final set point is reached the roast is considered done.

  6. Components On/Off control is provided for each component.

  7. Auto Roast To auto roast, choose a profile then press confirm profile. The roaster will heat up to the first temp set point and then if the machine has an automatic gates automatically start the roast. Once the roast has completed the roaster will empty the roasted beans into the cooler and starting the cooling cycle.

  8. Status This screen shows the status of the of each component.

  9. Real Time Temp. A graphical display of temperature set points and actual temperature. Each screen is ten minutes long and allows scrolling up to eight hours.

  10. Real Time Fan A graphical display of fan speed set points. Each screen is ten minutes long and allows scrolling up to eight hours.

  11. Settings Menu Provides access to various settings.

  12. Edit Menu To edit a profile, select the desired profile then choose to edit by segment or increment. Edit by segment allows the user to edit the temperature set points and fan speeds in intervals of 15 seconds or greater. Edit by increment only allows the user to edit the temperature set points and fan speeds at 15 second intervals but lets the user view all the set points of the entire profile.

  13. Total Profile Duration The total profile duration is the total length of time the profile will roast before ending. The final Bean set point is normally used to finish the profile, options are available

  14. Edit Temp Segment While editing by segment, simply increase where the segments stops then set the desired temperature and press OK. Repeat this process until the stop time is equal to the total profile duration.

  15. Edit Fan Segment While editing by segment, simply increase where the segments stops then set the desired fan speed and press OK. Repeat this process until the stop time is equal to the total profile duration.

  16. Edit Temp by Increment This edit tool is mainly used for small changes in existing profiles. The screen lets the user enter each value per 15 second interval. Simply press the 15 second increment and then enter in a new value. Edit Fan by Increment is the same procedure.

  17. Edit Quench , Doors/ Discharge The is length of time at the end of the roast in which the drum quench is on. A screen is provided for units with automatic doors also.

  18. Edit Name Keep the previous name or enter in a new one, then save or cancel all changes.

  19. Passwords Certain buttons throughout this program are password protected. The passwords are used to prevent the roaster from being used by unauthorized personnel.

  20. Roaster Settings The roaster will trip out and will need to be reset if the drum reaches this temperature. The drum motor and circulating fan will continue to run. Temperature in which the roaster is set upon start up and in between profile roasts. Fan speed in which the roaster is set upon start up and in between profile roasts. Drum Fan is monitored for current also The cyclone quench will activate if the cyclone reaches this temperature. Temperature at which the roaster will shutoff after automatic cool down.

  21. Maintenance Menu Provides access to each component and monitor without safety limitations. This portion of the roaster control is designed for trouble shooting. DO NOT use the maintenance control for roasting.

  22. Roaster Maintenance This screen allows you to monitor various aspects of the roaster while in maintenance mode, Allows for trouble shooting motors and such.

  23. Components Maintenance Again, while in maintenance mode, safety features are deactivated. Therefore, running the burner without the drum rolling or the circulating fan blowing can severely damage the roaster. This screen is intended for trouble shooting purposes only.

  24. Resets Menu Resets are designed to make the user aware that trip condition has occurred. The user must reset any trip condition before resuming roaster operation.

  25. Roaster Resets The drum over temp setting has been exceeded. E-Stop has been pressed. Thermodisc has exceeded rated temperature.
